Companies and research institutions in the regions represented in the ELA are global technology leaders in lightweight construction and as such visible to the outside world. The innovative and economic power of the lightweight construction sector in these regions will be sustainably strengthened.

• We want to strengthen the economic strength of companies in the regions, e.g. through joint marketing platforms.
• We want to strengthen the innovative power of the lightweight sector in the regions, through the development of cooperation at company and institute level.
• We want to make the regions of the ELA visible as a lighthouse for lightweight.
• We want to be the point of contact for the policy at regional and European level.
• We want to improve the respective network work of the regions through continuous exchange of ideas and experiences.
